The villa is the result of the transformation of the Capuchins’ Convent dedicated to St. Lorenzo and finished in 1509, built on a project by Architect Giovan Battista Carducci, in the second half of the XIX century, at the behest of Paccaroni family, who became its owner in 1811.
History tells us that in ancient times stood there a Fortress that hosted the Sforza family during their dominion (Galeazzo Sforza, who then became fifth Duke of Milan, was born here). It was completely destroyed during a popular uprising in 1446.
In 1891 it was purchased by Count Guglielmo Vinci and his heirs, who still preserve the property live there.
